Mike Henrietta started working in the "green industry" in 1974 as a greenhouse glazer, learned plant propagation and worked up to production manager by the time he graduated from Ohio State University Agricultural Technical Institute in 1980.  After an internship in Olympia, Washington he returned East and started a landscape business in Ivy, Virginia in 1984. Raising two daughters led Mike in 2001 to the University of Virginia Landscape department. In 2021 he left UVA to focus full time on his IHS clients.  Mike is ready to help you with your landscape issues now, whether it's direct help, or leading you to the right local business to best suit your needs.
